Computers 4 Kids is committed to the upliftment of ICT skills in  Africa. Through our extensive resources and affiliations we have built both an internationally superior ICT curriculum coupled with a support programme to ensure effective computer skills acquisition in schools across the continent and in countries such as England and Ireland.

Our recent affiliation with the ECDL / ICDL foundation has taken us that one step further in making the product superior to any other in the world. We are the first and only company globally to provide an international english / afrikaans ICT accreditation to learners at primary school level. At our recent Franchise Conference held in Cape Town, it was agreed by all franchisees to identify a school in each region and to adopt the school with all costs . This essentially means that we will be able to provide our full curriculum, support and accreditation to a number of schools across the continent, and help to close the digital divide for schools who are battling financially.

The ICDL foundation have also agreed to take part in the Adopt-A-School project by providing certification of the e-Learner qualification at no cost to the selected schools. We are as excited about the project as the identified schools are, as it will be a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in a community where resources are extremely limited. As our costs are very affordable to the majority of schools across South Africa, we would like to encourage other schools to also consider adopting a school, as the experience is as enriching for the benefactor as it is for the beneficiary.
